Fly Fishing Done Differently

Fishing will be done out of a 10ft Spratley aluminium john boat and we will be using conventional spinning and float fishing rod setups. A smaller stable boat provides an intimate feel with the water that is lost in larger vessels and the use of conventional fishing rods allows anglers of any skill or experience level the ability to catch lots of fish! 

The Thompson-Nicola region is home to many world class trout lakes. These productive lakes produce 'picture perfect' rainbow trout in a variety of strains and sizes. Our fishing will be focused on these strong, dynamic, and beautiful rainbow trout species.

I spend much of my time focused on the same waterbodies year after year. This hyper-focus on specific waterbodies has allowed me to design fly patterns that are exceptionally successful on these specific lakes.

Using quality flies, and knowing when/where to use them, is critical to a great angling experience.

Taking the complicated out of fly fishing! No fly casting knowledge required. Fishing using the same principles as advanced fly fishermen, knowing trout behaviour, feeding patterns, and aquatic etymology. But, without the hassle of knowing how to cast and retrieve flies.
